Belgrade School Tournament

Come check out the first ever Belgrade School Tournament Saturday, June 18th at the baseball field on Ada Ciganlija. The tournament is a one-day event that begins at 12:05 p.m. and will conclude around 4:00 p.m. Kids from 5 different municipalities of Belgrade will be competing in this tournament: Vračar, Čukarica, Novi Beograd, Zemun, and Palilula. The winning team will receive a complete set of baseball gear including catcher’s gear, bats, balls, gloves, and uniforms. Also to be given out will be individual awards for best hitter, best defensive player, and other similar skill awards.
The children have only been practicing about 2 months and this weekend will be the first time they will be competing against another team. Some kids have only begun a week ago, so it should make to be an interesting, fun event!
