Our Board

The Board of Directors consists of the three officers of the SBDA. The Executive Director and two Vice-Executive Directors have filled three board positions.

Keith Corona
Executive Director
California

Keith Corona is a graduate of California State University, Fresno where he earned his Master’s degree in Linguistics after having majored in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Marketing at Fresno Pacific University (FPU). He was also a part of the inaugural baseball team at FPU which began in 2006. Previous to playing at FPU he had spent two years playing baseball at Reedley College. Keith played for Baseball Club “Beograd ‘96” in Belgrade, Serbia from 2007-09; 2011; 2013 and Baseball Club Belgrade “Spartans” in 2009. Keith has also coached both the Senior and Junior National Baseball teams of Serbia as well as helping in the organization and execution of numerous youth tournaments throughout the country since 2007. Additionally, he has coached at the high school and is currently in his 4th season coaching at the junior college level in California.

Christopher Torosian
Vice Executive Director (Secretary)
California

Christopher Torosian is a graduate of the Craig School of Business at California State University, Fresno, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on entrepreneurship. Chris realized the profound effect non-profit organizations can have while taking a course on social entrepreneurship at Fresno State, and uses entrepreneurial principles to organize and help manage the SBDA.

Adam Alva
Vice Executive Director (Treasury)
California

Adam Alva is a graduate of Fresno Pacific University where he majored in Kinesiology. Adam was a teammate of Keith’s from Reedley College and FPU. Adam has many years of baseball experience as well as management experience. He is currently in a managerial position in Fresno, Ca.

Advisory Board

Zak Ivković
Advisor

Zak is the Executive Director of City University of New York Athletic Conference. He brings unrivaled experience to our advisory staff from both an athletic and business perspective. His prominence within the Serbian-American community is also of great benefit to the SBDA.

Milana ‘Mim’ Bizić
Advisor

Mim is responsible for a great deal of attention the SBDA has already received. She offered her assistance when there was little more than a few pictures and a business plan. In short, Mim earned a B.S. degree in three (3) years from the University of Pittsburgh where she had a four-year scholarship; a Master’s Degree in 1967; School Library Certification in 1970; and Gifted and Talented Certification in 1981. Her professional experience includes teaching all Elementary grade level students K-6; Teaching Graduate level courses for Penn State University (Beaver Campus for nine years until 1994), Carlow College and the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, where she taught fellow educators how to creatively integrate computers into their curriculums across all disciplines and all grade levels, K-12; working as a Supervisor of Student Teachers for the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt) after she retired from working 40+ years teaching in the public schools, most notably for Quaker Valley School District.

Mim in a prominent and proud Serbian American and her knowledge of social media, online marketing, and a multiplicity of other facets will prove to be quite valuable in the growth and success of the SBDA. Mim also writes for the Srbobran where she is also a member.

Eli Grba
Advisor

A former first selection in the 1960 expansion draft with the Los Angeles Angels, Eli was a right handed flame thrower. Eli was also an American League Champion with the New York Yankees. He continued work in the baseball world managing in the minor leagues as well as scouting for some time. Eli’s love for baseball as well as his pride of his Serbian heritage makes him quite valuable to the SBDA. Eli has the shared passion of the SBDA to give the youth of Serbia a chance with baseball, the game we all love.
