Flood Raiser

This past weekend Bejzbol Savez Srbije hosted a slow-pitch softball tournament to raise funds for those affected by the recent floods in Serbia. Approximately 75 people were present at the fundraiser with many shortened games taking place between adults and children. Almost 40,000 dinars were raised by the event. Aleksandar Radonjić, a PONY league standout, was quoted saying [via translation], “Although our own baseball programs are in need of donations it is nice to see that we can help out when we can, where we can. Maybe some of the people with more resources will follow in our footsteps and help the flood victims.”
